I require at least 24 hours advance notice to cancel appointments. If you notify me less than 24 hours before the appointment, you are required to pay a $100 late cancellation fee.
NOTE: This policy applies for one business day. Therefore, if you are scheduled for a session on Monday @ 5pm, to cancel that session without a charge, you would need to cancel it on the previous Friday (no later than 5pm) or within one business day notification.
-
If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible to let me know you are on your way. All clients are responsible for arriving on time for your scheduled appointment. I offer all clients a ten-minute grace period before canceling a session. During this time, I will reach out via text message after 5 minutes and follow up with a phone call after 8 minutes.
NOTE: If I do not hear from you, I will assume that you are a “no-show” and cancel the session accordingly. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, the session will be marked as a late cancellation. A $100 fee will be charged for any appointments marked as a no-show or late cancellation. If you arrive late, the session will still need to end at the originally scheduled time.

The best way to reach me is via email or phone. I aim to respond as quickly as possible.
I typically work Monday-Thursday from 10AM-7PM. If you reach out Friday-Sunday, those days are not considered business hours and I won’t respond to your inquiry until the next business day.

No Surprises act and good Faith Estimates
Under the No Surprises Act, all healthcare providers are required to provide a written estimate of expected charges, or a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE), to clients who do not have insurance or clients who choose not to use their insurance for services. If you receive therapy services using your insurance, your financial responsibility will depend on your individual plan (such as copays, deductibles, or coinsurance). I encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to better understand your coverage and any out-of-pocket costs.
My practice is committed to transparency in all fees. Before beginning services, we will review:
Session fees
Insurance use (if applicable)
Cancellation and no-show policies
Your rights:
You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time
If your final bill is $400 or more above your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge
Good Faith estimates are based on the information available at the time and does not include unexpected or unknown costs that may arise during treatment (ex: case management, professional consultation, parent phone calls, etc.). You are always welcome to ask questions about costs at any time. I believe in transparency and collaboration when it comes to your care—including financial clarity—so you can make informed decisions that feel supportive and sustainable.
